BHS Alumni Golf Tournament

The Annual Alumni Golf Tournament will be at the Crystal Springs Golf Course on Friday, October 13th. It will have a shotgun start so all foursomes can start and finish at the same time and a scramble format so that we can accommodate all levels of experience. Both breakfast and lunch will be included in your tournament fee. Prizes for longest drive and closest to the pin will be provided for two holes each and special recognition for lowest team score will be given. Reserve your spot online starting May 1st as the tournament will fill up quickly.

“Friday Night Lights”

Come experience the excellence of the Burlingame High School football program as the Panthers Varsity team will host the very formable Wilcox Chargers from Santa Clara on Friday, October 13th. Activities will start at 6:30pm at the BHS Football Field. Hall of Fame Athletes representing the BHS Men’s & Women’s teams from many sports will be introduced and participate in pre-game and halftime activities. Be prepared for many other surprises. Tickets must be purchased online through the BHS website. After the game, be sure to head over to Lorton Avenue for the Burlingame Alumni Block Party which will be ongoing.

BHS Lorton Avenue Party
“Rock The Block”

The Alumni Association, in conjunction with the City and merchants of Burlingame, is hosting an evening Block Party on Lorton Avenue on Friday, October 13th. Lorton Avenue will be closed to through traffic from Howard Avenue to Burlingame Avenue from 6:00pm until 10:00pm. For your convenience, Parking can be found at the corner of Lorton and Howard Avenues. Lorton restaurants and bars will offer no host food and signature drink specials for sale to BHS Alumni. Two BHS Alumni bands will be performing throughout the evening on the Lorton stage. Come join your friends and dance the night away to the music of your era. There is no charge for this event, but we are accepting donations on our website to help fund the event.

Celebration at the School

Burlingame High School will be opening its doors for all Alumni to return and celebrate the past 100 years on Saturday, October 14th. The morning will begin at 10:00am by having all BHS Alumni meet at the front of the school to commemorate Burlingame “Through the Years” of Burlingame High School. The campus will be open for both guided and self-guided tours. We will feature past & current teachers, coaches, principals, and other VIP guest speakers in front of BHS. Planned activities include a vintage car show, interactive game area, Alumni Band music, comedy, food & beverage trucks, photo booths, kiosks representing the many BHS clubs, and so much more. Please join your friends and classmates in this once in a lifetime Back to School event. There is no charge for this event, but we are accepting donations on our website to help fund the event.

Close out the Celebration with Classmates Downtown

What a perfect way to cap off the weekend celebration of Burlingame High School’s 100th anniversary! After a full day of reminiscing and reconnecting with old friends, Alumni are invited to enjoy the rest of the evening in downtown Burlingame & Broadway Avenues.

It’s the perfect way to catch up with classmates, friends and family to reminisce about your days at BHS. Many classes will be organizing gather locations ahead of time at various restaurants and bars.

As you share stories and laughter with your classmates, you’ll feel grateful for the memories you’ve created and the friendships that have lasted through the years. It’s a testament to the enduring spirit of Burlingame High School, and a reminder that no matter where life takes us, we can always find a sense of homecoming in the community we helped build.

We will feature three events on Friday, October 13th, that will provide something for everyone. This will be a great opportunity to meet up with your classmates and friends to kick off the Centennial Celebration Weekend.
